Sonia is a Legal Officer at MRB Attorneys, where she provides legal support across litigation, corporate, and advisory matters. Her practice focuses on civil and criminal litigation, corporate law, legal research, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance.
Sonia has gained practical legal experience through her work at MRB Attorneys and the Primary Court of Nyarugenge. She advises and supports clients on litigation and corporate matters, conducts legal research, drafts contracts, legal opinions, demand letters, court submissions, and criminal complaints, and manages electronic court filings through the Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS).
Before joining the firm’s legal team, Sonia completed a one-year professional legal internship at MRB Attorneys, where she strengthened her legal drafting, research, and litigation support skills. She also undertook a judicial internship at the Primary Court of Nyarugenge, gaining valuable experience in court administration, judicial procedures, and case management.
Sonia is a candidate for a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at University of Kigali. She is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of Kinyarwanda as her native language.
