Leila holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from Universite Lumiere de Bujumbura, Faculty of Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice & Development (ILPD). She is a member of both the Rwanda Bar Association and the East African Law Society. Over the years, Leila has augmented her academic foundation with extensive professional training, including certifications in Certified Secretaries from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board, and specialized workshops such as the Implementation of the UN Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture (OPCAT) and Cryptocurrencies and Trade Based Money Laundering.
From her role as a Paralegal at RR Associates and Co advocates to her current position as an Associate at MRB Attorneys, Leila has consistently demonstrated her expertise in consulting with clients, drafting legal documents, conducting corporate governance audits, managing transactions, and representing clients in court.
